Tracks Bookstore Export to Compass

After you do a closeout, please create a file of your receipts, (instructions to follow) so that we can import that data into Compass.  You can send multiple closeouts in one file, or send multiple files.  The system will not add items twice, but it will send an error listing to Andrea if you post the same day more than once. 

Steps:

Run the Sales by Receipt report

Run it for the closeout number(s) you want to send and then select Preview.

On the preview pane, chose the export button (it looks like a little email icon).

Chose the XML file type and click OK

Save it in your T drive, in the t\ folder, not the xml folder as this shows.

If you get a message saying the file already exists, just click 'Yes

After this, you can print the report or simply close the window.
