Installing NX Client

Before you install NX Client, create a folder somewhere on your PC that you want to use for Compass files. The folder name cannot contain spaces. Make this folder shared. Suggestion: Put it in 'My Documents' and call it CompassData.

Go to the web page http://www.nomachine.com/download-package.php?Prod_Id=65

Click on Download Package

Click 'Save' or 'Save To Disk'. Save it where you can find it again. Suggestion: Save it to your desktop, then delete it when you're finished.

Run the file you just downloaded.

Install in the default folder, and the default Start Menu Folder. Do not create a desktop Icon.
