Compass Client

Compass client is replacement for nxclient.  Installation instructions are included as part of the software, and are available at this link.

Matchup Instructions:

• In Start->Programs select the Compass Client program.
• It will ask you to login, use your yumaed.org email address and password for your email (we authenticate against the mail servers).
• The first time only, it will ask you for your last name so we can verify the login information. When you do that and hit OK.

• It will give you a list to choose from, select your name and that's it.
• It will then ask for you SSN, again only this first time. It'll try to match up your ssn and name to what's in the system. 
• Once it has, you're good to go.
• From that point on, you will only need to enter your email and password.

Installation:

The overall is, install the Certificate into Windows, install npackd, ask npackd to install Compass Client.

open Internet Explorer web browser and visit this url: https://lewis.yumaed.org/npackd/cert.pfx.
Select 'open', then select 'Allow'
on WinXP, you will have to click 'Tools/Internet options/Content/certificates/Import button' and feed it the .pfx file to get to the next step. (win Vista and 7 will do this part for you)
'certificate import Wizard': click Next 3 times (ignore the password prompt), at 'Certificate Store', select 'Place all certificates in the following store' and then click 'Browse'.
Select 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities', then OK and then next, and then select 'Finish'. If it asks if you want to install the certificate, select 'Install'.

Install npackd from http://code.google.com/p/windows-package-manager/downloads/list (you want the .msi file).
Launch npackd (Start/All Programs/Npackd/Npackd) and select menu item 'Package' and then 'Settings'. In the Repositories box, add a new line with this:
https://lewis.yumaed.org/npackd/npackd.xml
Then click 'apply'
click on the 'Packages' tab and then in the text type in 'compass', select 'CompassClient' and click 'Install'.
After installation, click the Windows start icon, and then 'All Programs' and at the very top of the list should be 'Compass Client', select that and you should be all set!
Upgrading

To install the new version:

Launch npackd: Start / All Programs / Npackd / Npackd
Then in the "text" field under the Packages tab, type in 'compass' this should find the CompassClient, click on Either of the Compass Client results on the right, and then click the 'Update' button at the top.
This will install the new version of CompassClient. After that, you should be able to launch Compass Client and authenticate just fine!
